This is a solid sterling 925 silver hallmarked antique anointing spoon.
Hand-shaped into a pendant by heating, hammering and bending the handle of the spoon.
Re-crafted from a solid silver anointing spoon, a souvenir of the coronation of edward VII. Fully hallmarked makers Cornelius Desormeaux Saunders & Frank Shepherd, London 1901.
There are some light surface scratches and a slight patina to be expected on antique silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The pendant is not made from a brand new piece of silver, any scratches and signs of wear add to it's character ;-)
Pendant measures 8cm .
Supplied on a 16" sterling silver ball chain.
Supplied with a pretty fabric drawstring bag. Will be posted signed for delivery.
