Hutton 1887

This is a solid sterling 925 silver hallmarked antique preserve spoon. Sizes R - U.
Hand-shaped into a chunky ring by heating, hammering and bending the bowl and handle.
Re-crafted from a solid silver ornate jam spoon. Hallmarked makers Edward Hutton, Sheffield 1887. N.B. The hallmark is actually hidden under the tail end of the spoon as it has been wrapped around - it is none-the-less there as seen in the last photo!
There are some light surface scratches and slight patina, to be expected on antique silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The ring is not made from a brand new piece of silver. Any scratches and signs of wear add to it's character ;-) Being hand-crafted, this ring may not be as perfectly round as a mass produced machine made ring might be. This does not affect the fit or loveliness of the ring at all!
Supplied with a pretty fabric drawstring bag. Will be posted signed for delivery.
