This is a solid sterling 925 silver hallmarked antique fork.
Hand-shaped into a bangle by heating, hammering and bending the tines and handle. The bangle can be made slightly larger or smaller to suit your wrist by gently easing the bangle open or squeezing it closed. At present the diameter is 6.25cm.
Re-crafted from a solid silver heavy chunky fork. Fully hallmarked makers Thomas Smily, London 1858.
There are some light surface scratches and a patina, to be expected on antique silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The bangle may not be as perfectly round as a mass produced machine made bangle might be - this does not affect the loveliness of the piece at all!
Supplied with a pretty fabric drawstring bag.
