This is a chunky late Victorian sterling silver hallmarked pocket watch albert chain, complemented with a contemporary large locket.
Chain is hallmarked circa 1890, each link is hallmarked but the hallmarks are extremely worn due to age. The locket is hallmarked makers Fred Manshaw, Sheffield 1978. There is also an antique hallmarked sterling silver heart pendant on the chain.
Chain measures 14", so it's like a choker style. Locket (including bail) measures 45mm x 30mm.
Locket opens and shuts securely.
There are some light surface scratches and a patina, to be expected on antique & vintage silver items which have been carefully used and well cared for. The necklace is not made from brand new pieces of silver, any scratches and signs of wear add to it's character.
Supplied in a pretty fabric drawstring bag. Will be posted signed for delivery.
